Eli is an ambivalent teenager who wants nothing more than to escape the despair of small-town life in rural Pennsylvania. Time with Cali is his only escape. Cali is smart, beautiful, and adventurous. Together, they enjoy a perfect summer with no responsibilities, just each other.
That is, until a tragic accident destroys everything.
As Eli struggles to come to grips with his new life, he finds comfort in the world of his dreams. There, Cali is more than just a memory. Dreams clash with reality and Eli is left to question what really happened? Was Cali really gone? If so, why did the girl of his dreams seem so real?

Josh Magnotta is an author/screenwriter from rural Pennsylvania. His debut novel, A Sweet, Soft Glow was released in 2020. In 2022 he earned Honorable Mention at the International Horror Hotel Film Festival and Convention for his screenplay based on Glow.. Josh continues to write and find inspiration in everyday life.
